βI love it! Berkeley Perk Cafe in Boston's Beacon Hill is a nice little spot to grab a bite. My husband and I stopped by recently and had a good experience with both the food and the service.
βI ordered the smoked salmon bagel sandwich, and it was very good. The salmon tasted fresh, and they were generous with the portion, which was great. I had mine with capers and onion, no tomato, and the combination was just right. My husband tried the Merinda's Bagel Sandwich, and the avocado added a nice touch to it.
βFor drinks, we got a drip coffee and a pumpkin latte. The latte was delicious, with a rich flavor. The drip coffee was warm rather than hot, but it wasn't a big deal since the sandwiches were the highlight of our visit and they were very tasty.
βThe service was quick and the staff was friendly, making for a pleasant visit. If you're in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, it's a solid place to check out for a good sandwich.

I walked a few blocks from my conference hotel for breakfast and found this gem. The space has historic, broken-in charm. I got a drip coffee and an egg and veggie bowl βfor here,β sat in a booth, picked up the newspaper, ate and drank from real mugs and bowls. Friendly service, delicious breakfast. A balm for the soul.

Friendly, approachable, neighborhood eats. Menu always seems to be experimenting and just delicious overall at a great price

Owner is really friendly (but also sassy, in a good way) and also gives off elder queer vibes. Extremely hospitable.
Interior feels a little old, but in a nostalgic way that reminds you of a home full of love.
Relatively quiet, extraordinarily low prices especially in this day and age (the $8 sandwiches really caught me off guard), and the tuna melt I had was quite literally the best sandwich Iβve ever had, no exaggeration.
10/10, would definitely come here again.
