Just sharing about today at 3pm no one was kicked out of cafe was making drinks behind counter heard a child voice near restroom checked and door wide open carriage in front of refrigerator no one asked if we had restroom so when someone came out asked if she needed anything she went front of cafe so i asked are you waiting for someone she said no so asked if she wanted drink or food she said no and said she was waiting for bus which is not a problem just ask common courtesy also we have kids in the neighborhood in the morning on cold day come in and ask if they could wait this has never been an issue also was not pretending call the police was informing my boss about the situation .
Decent coffee. They have a limited selection of pastries and a full menu of sandwiches, both for breakfast and lunch. I think it’s more of a sandwich shop than a coffee shop. There are 4 booths, 3 hi-top tables, 2 small cafe tables by the window, and 3 cozy-looking chairs surrounding a coffee table. Seems to be a place people come for conversation and community, or reading a newspaper. I don’t see any students deep in their laptops (not that kind of place).
I’m only giving it 4 stars because it’s a bit pricey for what it is, but it’s not a cheap location to set up shop so I can’t blame them for charging what they charge.
Great neighborhood spot for casual breakfast and lunch. They have an awesome set menu and a rotating specials list. Relaxed atmosphere; have a seat or take it to-go. Reasonable prices plus everything tastes fresh- I’ve never been disappointed with my lunch here!
You have the rudest staff I took the baby I take care to the bathroom because it was the closest place we had and the guy working on Wednesday at 3 pm was so rude kicking us out, telling us in front of everyone that we can’t use the bathroom, when I even didn’t use it! It was just for a baby that couldn’t wait to go home. His parents leave just right across your business and I hope that they and all their friends never come back to your business. This guy was even pretending to call the police. This was such a disgusting experience.
This my my second time to Berkeley Perk. The man who helps you is just a breath of fresh air in Boston. I had a Turkey, Swiss, Avo sandwich. Construction was perfect. Bread, mayo, cheese, meat, avo, cheese, mayo, bread. Awesome! $5.88 cents. That does not exist in this city. ❤️
